Public Map Items: Items you share on the public map automatically expire after 14 days to maintain content freshness and protect privacy.

Account Deletion: If you choose to delete your account, all of your personally identifiable data, including your photos, scan history, location data, and account information, will be permanently deleted from our primary production systems within 30 days. Some limited, de-identified or aggregated data may be retained for research, analytics, and AI improvement purposes as described in the "Use of Your Information" section.

7. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of providing certain personal information by:

• Not granting location permissions (though this will limit map and claiming features)
• Not sharing items publicly on the map
• Not using social sharing features
• Contacting us to request the deletion of your account and associated data
